I grew up surrounded by music, learning instruments, songwriting, busking and putting on dodgy backroom rock gigs. I went to study English & Music at Leeds Uni and later began singing jazz, performing with some acclaimed and talented instrumentalists, teaching voice at Leeds College of Music, recording several albums under the ‘Jazz’ genre and featuring (very occasionally) on tv and radio.

‘Leaving a Space’ (2016) features twelve songs written, produced and recorded on my lonesome – a speedy way to get to know the studio where I work every day on voiceover/narration and production music. You can explore this and earlier recordings on Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp.
