About

I was born in Nottingham, where I developed a love of writing and performing music and drama. I studied Music & English at Leeds Uni and I’ve lived in beautiful Yorkshire for over 20 years!

I spent the early part of my career performing, recording and teaching jazz: still a major influence. I began to compose for media and rekindled a songwriting spark that led to two albums of original music. I also rekindled the dramatic spark working as a voiceover artist, as well as producing and editing podcasts and other audio projects. I share a studio with with sound designer and musician Adam, and we have two daughters.

I can often be found performing with the band Flying Funk (vocals/keys) and I love anything to do with food and plants, books (novels, news…too much news) and walking (preferably to a pub quiz!).
